We offer a service designed to network graduates from the MSU area with international students seeking assistance with their English based communication skills. We require all qualified tutors to have graduated with a bachelor degree at minimum from Michigan State University with prior experience tutoring or assisting international students. As a patron, the student will be setup with their own personal tutor who will focus on strengthening their Pronunciation, Grammar, and overall English Conversation Skills. Once the student has their personal tutor they will setup a convenient meeting time and place (around MSU campus). When the student begins their meetings they can ask to be guided on a tour of MSU campus and the Grand River Ave. area. Most importantly all tutors are extremely friendly and enjoy what they do.
Tutoring session are one to one and a half hours long. Students can choose how many times per week they would like to meet with their tutor, it is typical to meet 2 to 3 times per week. MSU English also welcomes the international students of Lansing Community College. MSU English is for all ages and all English speaking levels, we will find a tutor for you!
